What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

5.0 when woke up currently 5.5 half an hour later.
diabetic review at dr's surgery later on this morning. still dont see point of going as in 2 weeks time bloods at hospistal with review with dsn and consultant straight after results.

recently have came to the realisation lots of people will have scheduled appts a lot of them possibly no need... is part of what makes getting a dr's appt so difficult thesedays, would love if they brought back the old pop down at 8:30am queue then be seen with afternoons being set aside for regular appts. its so difficult sometimes takes over a week (if you dont give up by then) to see a gp thesedays
Hope the review goes well

5.4 today. yesterdays review at the gp surgery was a waste of time pretty much. They've never heard of honeymoon period and questioned if i haven't been taking insulin as directed when left hospistal, they had the wrong insulin humalin on their record i was written up for changing from toujeo to the other but decided several weeks ago not to, surgery called dsn on my behalf for that, was reducing toujeo anyhow... i've to pop back to the dr's surgery in 3 months time. first pee of the day sample to hand in. checked feet via tapping plastic thing lots of times then asked can you feel that ok. surely would tap one area to see if feel not dart all around the foot then ask. Blood pressure was little high (not a lot) taken at the end of appt what they do they expect to happen with BP after questioning and arguing over if sure not taking insulin and lecturing how important to take. Oh weight was also done apparently i've gained over a kilo since hospistal prob was all the jelly babies and other junk eating to try keep levels above 5 to drive when was injecting insulin.

Next review at the surgery i'm going to ask to see the other nurse very surprised at the difference between the 2 nurses that have seen. pharmacist at the surgery and drs alongside the other nurse so far been awesome shame about yesterdays nurse telling me impossible to stop taking insulin. I'd rather listen to consultant / and (to some degree) DSN. I'm glad that the dsn eventually refered me to diabetic dietician after lots of arguing (oh i think the hospistal got your dose right...) whilst constantly going low after the initial few weeks eating a ton of junk to raise sugars... otherwise may of put on a lot more weight pretty sure all the jellybabies / lift tablets hasnt done any favours for lipids..

The nurse would like me to print out past libre reports for them to add to my notes. I share libreview info with the DSN surely dr's have access to that too?

Good morning all

Six point five this morning on contour next

Interesting hba1c yesterday. The lowest I’ve had in ten years:

Lab result five point nine one percent

Predictive result. Contour next as recorded on my sugr; five point five percent

As recorded and predicted on libre : five point three percent

… so the daily calculation from meters are fairly close to the lab report.

I used the “ medical diagnosis “ lab , Victoria London. Cost around £100 for hba1c and c-peptide , the result of which follows in a few days

The last c- peptide I had taken was 10 years ago and was on the lowest side of normal
