What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

8's and 9's over last few days entirely my own fault ...when I fall off the wagon I fall ...8.9 this morning .
I think the wagon was put there for us all to climb on and fall off once in a while. We can't be angels all the time, far too much temptation in life, just do the best we can.

Lettuce, beetroot and peppers etc, still 6.5 and holding.

6.3 again. Seems like even half an apple with almond butter is not a great thing for me.
Niece went into labour last night, she’s still here and likely won’t be ready for the hospital for some time yet. Her husband is on his way, a five hour drive away. Hoping he makes it here on time to take her in. Although I don’t mind doing it I really so t think it’s my place….he should be here!
And there goes my blood sugar….i can feel the stress….

libre 5.3 off for a swim in a bit killing a little bit of time waiting onthe pool to open doing some laundry. very little wind today however thunderstorms forecast currently a little drizzle

She’s here…a whopping 9 lb 4 oz girl. Labour went very quick and the hubby made it with less than 45 minutes to spare. I must say my niece handled that labour like a darn champ! No meds and calm as can be…

wow big girl surprised labour went so quick great that her hubby made it for the birth thats some trek 5 hour travel. best wishes to the future for all

That's lovely news, congratulations to the new mummy not forgetting daddy. What a wonderful supportive aunt you are.

6.3 this morning. Relaxed things a bit yesterday as I got to see my online A1c results. Bloods are the same as last year, not brilliant at 44 but still considered as in remission. They could have been a lot worse as I've been through quite a bit this year so all things considered I'm very relieved and happy.
