I suspect it was the casual Sunday leg of lamb and red wine yesterday that has led to a five point nine on my libre today

Yikes, I was going to go to yoga today but it started snowing, so I figured that before the roads get too awful I’d do my shopping. What a disaster. The roads were sheet ice and I had a big hill to go down…traffic backed up due to an accident, got past that when someone cut in front of me…and even at 30 km per hour my brakes chattered and I was sliding…thought for sure that was it, I was so close to hitting the vehicle…my heart was pounding. Luckily I stopped just in time. Got my shopping done, headed back up the hill, slipping all the way at 30 km…went to Costco and spent a lot on money….stress shopping.
Safe at home now and waiting for the big snowfall this afternoon…..
You’d think our town would be better with maintaining the roads….but no…they suck

Do you use winter tyres? I've had better grip with those but heck of expensive. Shopping trip sounds stressful hate driving in ice/snow. Especially if in automatic high gear slow as possible helps alongside having tyre pressure perfect. I have a pal northern Iceland uses tyre chains for when snow is really bad
We have to have snow tires, it’s the law. I have very good snow and ice tires….conditions were just very awful. New forecast is for 4cm this afternoon and 10 more cm tonight. Time to clean up the basement gym.
