What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

Just managed to creep back into 6's at 6.9. Daren't do a retest as it will no doubt have gone up once I am up and about. Take the small wins when they happen.

Had to smile at the comments from @mojo37 regarding past dietary choices and becoming diabetic. I too am amazed at the way my BS shoots up with relatively common stuff like bread, biscuits and pastries etc. Love them all but sadly my blood doesn't so no surprise I am where I am.

I didn’t wake until past seven am, must be getting into the time zone here in nz. Being shuttled half way round the world at five hundred miles an hour and more takes its toll

Blood glucose according to libre :five point five

6.8 today, 5.2 at bedtime. Now, I do test after the bed is made, I’m dressed and coffee is brewing…still much higher than normal.
Cold again today but sunny and gorgeous. This is the last super cold day, back to normal tomorrow.
I’m tired today, the gym felt like a chore. I have 8500 steps so far and I did a leg day, my least favourite.
Doing a huge file cleanup and password organization. It’s a huge chore but really needs to be done. Must update our wills too, POA was updated not too long ago. I’m very obsessed these days with downsizing.

Consolidation is not a bad thing I reckon !
