I am having a short break soon and I know the breakfasts will be fabulous. Fresh fruit, cereals, all sorts of hot food, toast croissants etc . What is the best breakfast in terms of low calories and feeling full till lunch time?
Type 2 metformin, insulin.

Mushroom omelette ? Great start to the day. Healthy and pretty much zero carb !

Holiday?

Bacon, eggs, sausage, mushrooms, tomato, maybe toast, coffee, black or skimmed milk, in my case not a huge amount on the plate as I count the calories, but you did say holiday.

Or porridge, if you can eat it, with fruit.

Sadly, with the fat in the fry up, it won't be low calorie.

Porridge isn't a bad choice for the calories, but only if it doesn't spike you.

I avoid the croissants, and white toast nowadays, and the butter, both for the carbs and the fat.

Poached - much better for the calorie count though.
Mushrooms depend on if they're fried, or reheated tinned, as they tend to be in water.

Do give priority to reducing carbs rather than calories e.g fats if you are worried about blood sugar levels. I always pig-out on the cooked stuff, eggs, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes etc and try to find a low-sugar cereal often without success and finally only have a small piece of toast and no sugary cakes, Danish or whatever. Watch the sugary baked beans.

No need to pig out, particularly as fat has twice the calories. Portion control, and a god balance between carbs and calories.

Go for a run before breakfast and then go for the full breakfast. :)

How about kippers, or smoked salmon adn scrambled eggs?

Berries and yogurt if you like dairy?

Omelettes are a good holiday choice as have been mentioned. Lots of options for fillings. Bacon and eggs, fish, ham, cheese, unsweetened yoghurt, berries. As it's a short break rather than a fortnight away, I wouldn't worry too much about calorie content.

I think as a diabetic, BG control has to be anyone's first priority when eating food you're not preparing yourself. If you're trying to lose weight, calorie control is something to aim for too but most important is to keep your BGs stable.
