So apparently eating low carb has increased his BG pushing him towards becoming pre diabetic? How?! I think the whole idea of this show is to say low carb is bad. They skated straight over the fact that the high sugar twin lost a similar percentage of muscle too!
I am now totally confused! Insulin resistance and muscle loss sounds scarey. I like my LCHF diet but is it causing me more harm than good???
It's important to do weight resistance training on a low carb diet. The body will tend to use unused muscle before it'll dip into it's fat reserves allegedly. It's thought to be a survival thing.

I guess processed food manufacturers actually came out the worse.Interesting program, but I would have preferred it if they used more realistic diets such as low carb rather than zero carb. I'm not convinced it was terribly meaningful really, for either of them.

Best thing I ever did was give up processed food.I guess processed food manufacturers actually came out the worse.
I eat very well but I've been doing less than 25 most days so perhaps I should up it a bit. Hey ho... Interesting life.He did NO CARB.... I follow low carb, all my carbs are made up from non starch carbs-20 carb dinner composed of an aubergine bake. It was a **** experiment and non of us who follow low carb are eating purely protein and fat. I am without s doubt going to continue my low carb way if life. Lots of green leafy veg, nuts, berries and protein, averaging 60 carbs per day
