What is a day in the life of a diebetic really like?

Crikey, how long have you got ? A short story from some and a much longer heart-wringing story from others.

It's not too bad tbh, I find it's more of a worry for people around me then it is myself, as long as you're sensible its practically the same as any other life

I agree with Danny too it's not that much harder you've just got to get on with it and be a bit more responsible with extra stuff. :P

What does it mean to live with this disorder on a dailly basis?

It's no different to anyone else...............................except:

Taking insulin, measuring bg, counting the carbs in your meals, pre-planning meals (but I suppose everyone does that) making sure you have all your equipment with you when going out like fast-acting glucose, a snack, bg monitor, insulin pen and associated supplies, not to mention the routine diabetes check-up at the clinic, eye and podiatry appointments, apart from from all that it's no different as I said:D

same as everyone else but eat more sensible and keep focusing ahead x

The Avengers called me but I'm too busy fighting crime with my sweetness:D
