I can't lose weight

I do booze at weekends though what else can I do to lose weight I am type 2
 
Have you reduced the carbs in your diet and also general portion sizes? Set yourself a daily limit of, say,150gm of carbs and see how you go. Not only will it help with weight loss but will also reduce blood sugar. Exercise as well of course
 
Yes, the alcohol is the normal one that puts the weight on. Cut the booze down.
 
Ahhh those were days, Timothy Taylor's Landord, Ruddles County, Theakston's Old Peculier, Black Sheep Riggwelter, 2 samosas, portion onion bahjis, lamb rogan josh with 3 chapatis and a keema paratha - well the beer always gives you the munchies. Friday night at the Dusty Miller, fond memories.

But in those days I worked as a delivery driver for a building supplies company. Not only did I have to drive but I had to bag up and load the wagon, deliver and unload it all and, when there were deliveries to the yard, plaster, plasterboard, cement, concrete lintels etc, I had to help unload those too. One day 78 tons in 1 cwt bags had passed through my hands by 12am.

You can't have the one without doing the other.
 
Help I drink wine I am super skinny in danger of disapearing altogether should I double my wine intake hic

I have a few beers at the weekend. i also do a load of exercise as well, partly to cover the excess calories I shall end up consuming. In 40mins weight training (15mins lifting 30mins of rests between sets) today the volume I shifted was 3450kg so I got a weigh (sorry, could not resist) to go to match 78tons!

When I started drinking in the dim and distant past I used to have a half of mixed ! Any one else?

I remember mixed yes. Half bitter half mild? I haven't heard of that in three or four decades now though.

You need to train if you want to drink :-)

 
5 1/2 Decades ago actually !!! Now that is a dangerous way to drink beer

I could order a couple of pints, and down the first one before he'd pulled the second normally.
 
Why drink a pint so fast that you dont taste it unless you are very thirsty and then why not drink water or you want to get drunk quickly or you want to impress

That's a good question.
I haven't got an answer, but it certainly helped get me here today.
 
Brings me back to my student days: sub 3 second pints and still couldn't make the drinking team!
 
Quit the beer, do hard liquor and coke zero, you can thank me later.
