...Pedro needs a **** good slap when he returns, zand, will teach him not to go wandering off on his own clocking up the mileage without you...:shifty:

Well done with the walking Pollylocks, I hope I can do some tomorrow. I have seen a photo of my son in his room at the guest house where he is staying and then another in the bar. He is wearing his Netherlands shirt with Bergkamp 10 and is linking arms with 2 Spanish guys. He speaks quite a bit of Spanish because he was going out with a Spanish girl for 2 1/2 years, though sadly she has gone back to Madrid now. He looks really happy. His friend is going out tomorrow and staying a week.

Right I'd better water next doors tomato plants before kick off

Yet again I managed a 45 minute walk in the sunshine. Tomorrow will be a little more complicated though as my daughter has bought me a slightly early Father's Day present so she and I will be sat at Lord's all day watching the England v Sri Lanka test match. It should be a great day, but I suspect we'll have to walk from Baker Street tube station to Lord's and back to ensure I get the exercise I need.
You could always do some of the chair based exercises I posted. At risk of annoying people in seats next to you.
Enjoy your treat. Day out with daughter sounds lovely, especially as she paid.

tried the mountain bike home tonight, strangely i was 8 minutes faster than the road bike, dunno what that means, 38 mph on a mountain bike is bloody scarey, i think the 8 minutes may have been down to being alot braver through the traffic due to not worrying about getting my feet out of the pedals lol the cycling is the only exercise im doing at the mo :( apart from working hard, that seems to be enough to cream cracker me
Please be careful with that knee.

Nice riverside walk in Richmond today then 15 mins on the bike. I suspect it's going to be all bike from now on as mr E seems to be suffering from glued-in-front-of -telly syndrome. Did I mention how much I hate football?

I have been in pain last few days, but at least the allergies stopped causing trouble, and no more puking.
Before challenge I would have taken to my bed, and felt sorry for myself. Today, working on the principle that I would be sore if I went out, but sore and miserable if I didn't. So took myself off to the pool, joined in the aquafit session, but gently. I do not have to be the best in the class, just the best I can be! Managed an hour of aqua. I followed this with 30 minute supermarket stroll, not fartlek today.

Home for light lunch then visit to son's house just down the road and spent 10 mins chucking the ball for the dog, then the dog and I had a nice nap in the sunshine. Happy days. Still sore, but have clocked up my challenge minutes plus some.

ive watched 2 games so far, spain now and the wifes asking how long the world cup lasts for lol i can see me watching it online at this rate :)

I am happy to watch the footy, as long as the gofer gets the beers. ( he thinks I call him the gaffer, heeeheee).

i have the same attitude and have very little (too little) patience for self pity, my blokes at work know too well that if there legs drop off i expect them to drag themselves to work lol your exactly right, when we are ill we feel ****** anyway so may as well carry on

Ah, I wish.
I do spend a lot of time in Dumfriesshire though. Only snag is it is a 50 mile round trip to the nearest swimming pool.

Happy to be retired!
