"A new you in 42"

I walked for an hour this morning. I have been banned from ironing for 2 days by my chiropractor who asked me if I'd been lifting heavy suitcases while on holiday! I am getting withdrawal symptoms already as I had planned to iron lots today. Still I have mended the pair of shorts. We're going out for a meal tonight so I have worked out what I am going to order in advance and adjusted the rest of the day's food to fit. If they don't have what I want to order I'll miss out that course 'cos there is no way I am messing up this week after Tuesday's weigh-in.

Wrinkly clothes rule ok!;)

Aw Pipp hope you are feeling a bit better.
A few of my friends found it harder today.
I suppose after nearly a month it was going to get harder.

Ta Jamrox.

Serves me right, and thinking I was flying along. Should remember to treat my battered body with a bit more respect. Allergies always hit me when I least expect it. Still managed to get my 30 mins done in small stages. I will not be defeated when I have made a pledge.

Hot hot hot today!
Shorts on and scaring the locals on my dog walks. :DCan't really blag you guys and pretend I got my heart rate up much - if I was walking to music it would be in the 'easy listening' category rather than 'rock'.:headphone:
I've already written on my report card 'must do better'

Not feeling too well today. Allergy season. So drowsy with antihisamine I am staying away from the pool. Had a gentle walk in air conditioned shop. Waiting for it to go cooler and will have a 10 minute stroll. Will make up the rest of the 30 mins with physio exercises, perhaps with rest inbetween. After I have had another snooze!
Hope you start feeling better soon Pipp. Your boundless energy inspires us all to do more.x:)

Whoo! Went for my interview for CRT work, and was accepted on the spot. I have taught at this school before, but the head teacher and myself weren't grey haired back then, and we are now!
Another interview next week with another school where I've taught before as well!
Did long walk around huge hardware store looking at bathroom fittings, since hubby has a huge stride, I'll count it as a jog, in high heel boots!
Bloods dropping since finished cortisone, and asthma is better.
Down is good enough for a month, then more rigorous testing, or stress makes me spike a lot.
One packet of corn chips and cortisone equal 22 reading...oh my, never again, worst reading I've ever had, ever.
Walked sloely round the house for an hour and a half, with asthma , and drank a lot, thank goodness it came down, 5.4 next morning...phew!
Congrats on the job Gillie Ruth! :joyful: Hope your bloods are behaving a little better for you now.

32 minutes exactly on bike. Might go and do a bit more then some stretching as I feel tense. Mr E lost his wallet today- sadly his didn;t turn up and new cards will take ten days. Good job we went shopping on Wednesday.

....only a thirty minute walk today, soo hot and muggy, think we may be in for a thunderstorm....heat and me have never been the best of friends, makes me feel like a wrung out rag....if we don't get a storm and it cools down, will be attacking the skipping rope later...

...congratulations on the job Gillie Ruth...:)

Thanks folks, I am starting to feel better already. Like Pollylocks I don't get on with hot weather.
Don't know how you manage the skipping rope, Pollylocks.
Impressed that everyone is keeping going.

oh, not quite everyone......Well I only had a 10 minute walk today. It was a difficult day because youngest son was both excited and stressed about going to Brazil. He is panicking he will miss his connection at Sao Paulo now because the flight was delayed leaving Heathrow. So I'm a bit worried too
Get well soon Pipp

Haha, only bounding for me today has been to vomit in the barhroom. Ah, well, tomorrow is another day.
Do you mean the barfroom? :-)

I'm sorry to here you've been unwell. Hope you're soon feeling better. But what an inspiration you are to keep active no matter what.

My daughter suffers badly with hay fever. She has to have prescription meds because nothing in the shops is effective :-(

Thank you for those 'kind' comments, peacetrain.
I wouldn't say active today, just creative with what I deem to be exercise. Its because I never ever fail to do something I have pledged to do.
Goodnight to you too.
