The new you in 42 challenge has been a great success.
The participants feel better and have decided to continue being more active.
We have decided that we will be active for at least 40 minutes every day . It doesnt need to be
In one go , it can be 5 minutes 8 times a day etc.
It doesn't need to be lycra and the gym it can be walking up and down the stairs or dancing around your bedroom in your nightie , whatever works for you.
Anyone who wants to join us is very welcome.
It starts Monday 30 June

OK, I'm in too. Monday is good for a new start for me!

I will be in, even though I won't be posting regularly for a few weeks.

I have no idea what the e t thing is about . Anyone know how I get rid of it?

I might not get to post much from the 9th during my hols but rest assured my hubby will make me walk for miles around:
Lucca
Venice
Sorrento
Corfu town
Dubrovnik
Rome
Adjacio ( ? Spelling)
Kotor

On ship days I will go to the gym.

You had better! Or you'll be walking the plank ;-)

Great idea, I'll be opting for 40mins of "dancing round in my nightie" as exercise of choice :-)

Haha I was going to have a week off it before my holiday but my husband now has the fitness bug to so between him and a certain group of diabetics and some Facebook friends I have no choice lol.
Mind you if I stopped I may not start again. If I walked the plank I would sink , swimming isnt my strong point.

If you go to the top of the thread Jamrox, on the right there's a button called 'thread tools'. You can edit the title from there.

Indy 51 Hope you don't mind me reposting on here. ..

On the subject of having so much weight to lose, read the most amazing and inspiring success story at Mark's Daily Apple today:

http://www.marksdailyapple.com/down-360-pounds-in-a-year-and-a-half-2/#axzz35u4xFu1O

I think I might like this.
Might try it when I come back from holiday.
Won't be doing bare foot outside for obvious reasons.
I will still have coronation chicken with my salad and have a little bit of high cocoa chocolate to help me through though.

Not been to many of those places. Didn't like Venice - too many canals, difficult to walk anywhere - too many people! Liked Sorrento and Rome - (especially winning on penalties!) Sorry I'm thinking a bit too much about football while the World Cup is on.

Have a lovely holiday (in case I forget to say it just before you go)

We ve been to a lot of the places before so we know where we want to go back to.
We are in Venice overnight so we ll go in early before the crowds decend , its better then , I don't like it when it gets to busy.
Last time we were in Rome we walked for hours and hours , I was knackered .
Im looking forward to Kotor because its lovely and this time Im fit enough to walk up the huge hill and see the scenery.
Im also looking forward to Dubrovnik, I saw an episode of coach trip where they visited and it looked great.
