Ketone meter??

Hello, so got my blood ketone meter and tested my ketones and it kept flashing LO Blood is 7.6 though is that anything to worry about??

that's sounds normal.......not seen a low on a ketone result though as the measurement of blood ketones is a much smaller number than blood glucose....so you would expect to see something......or i would anyway....ive only used one brand of meter though....
 
What ketone tester is it you have? I've never seen that appear mine before - it's always a number and if normal under 0.6

Ahh - mine is the optimum exceed. Hopefully, someone might be along soon to advise you.

As Nicola says the Glucomen LX Plus records a Lo reading if the reading is below 0.1mmol, it reads Hi if above 8.0mmol. Last time I checked mine it read Lo, previous to that it was 0.2mmol.
 
My iPad must be playing up. I can't see this response from Nicola?

LO is nothing to worry about, anything <0.6 is aok too...keep an eye on it though. I can see the next thread NicolaAnne - KETONE METER RANT lol lol (old joke)
