2014/15 Football Season

Chelski are trying to change my mind about who's gonna won the title. Impressive!

Perhaps but the fluency of their first half play was very good. Good balance. 5 big Men for set pieces. Full backs getting forward. Settled back four. And a bench you would want playing as your first team. I defo like Matic to compliment fabregas.

Unfortunately for gooners, fabregas is a quality midfielder and the pick out and vision for Schurles goal was world class! Sorry! I call it as I see it!

Yes, I think I know who you mean now! Yes he is quality, I can't believe Wenger didn't get him back again. I would have, if only to stop someone else getting him. What has upset my elder son the most is that in 2011 Fabregas said he would never play for Chelsea. My son has threatened to burn the signed photos and also the photo of himself with Cesc at a fans forum meeting, I have hidden them for the time being, but I fear it's only a matter of time until he finds them!

I would swop Fabregas for Ozil, no problems. I think if we didn't have Ozil he would have taken Fabregas.

Not suggesting they are similar players but midfield is getting saturated. I hope Ozil improves because he could keep better players out of the team.

Yes I agree about midfield getting saturated. I still would have bought him back to stop Chelsea getting him, even if we weren't going to play him regularly. So I'm cynical......sorry. I hope Ozil improves too, we've got some good songs ready! Can't wait for Saturday. Just a little matter of a game tonight first........
 
I thought Burnley played well last night, but Chelsea were different class, very comfortable winners. Could be an interesting season ahead
 
Arsenal play in champions league and the real footie is being played in a full programme of the league. The Superwhites are (still) looking for their first win at Wycombe tonight.

i feel guilty posting, or maybe its pity, im so sorry about us ruining everyone season

its ironic that i spent so many years going to every game home and away, one nil to them in the rain was normal, i stopped going to the games when life got in the way, ever since we have been great lol in those days the fans where better than the players (apparently) or according to everyone shouting out, they probly still are but it must be weird going to watch a good team, i probly will never know as ive no plans to start going to games again, life is still in the way, my treat is sky sports and thatll have to do :)

Yes! It could! We lose (again) tonight.

Sky sports is faster than the local grapevine or the local radio! Having two huge premier clubs within a couple of miles tends my club to be treated as an afterthought. Our games on radio Merseyside have been replaced on air by follk music unless you have DAB!
If it was the reds and blues playing no way would they move it!
I like some of the things but some of the pundits are *****!
I like the fantasy league programme!
 
quite strange really, i find myself routing for the teams people on here support
 
Things are never dull with my lot!
Take today for instance! New first team coach, a player released and a player signed on loan.

The games are less predictable at our level. And you won't miss any action going for a half time cuppa!
