I caught my arm on some barbed wire. I saw it tear into my flesh and felt the resistance. But no pain. I knew that was not normal.

I'm reminded of some film or the other now, where the hero did something like that, maybe it was Arnie in his younger days ?
Almost total desensitisation? Hmmm... I know there is a vitamin deficiency that causes similar....off to the Batcave to have a look ....

You definitely need a specialist who is able to tell you whether this is diabetes or b12 related - and who can give you an indication of whether things will change in the future.

But I'm glad you're feeling good, cos we need your attention, comments and presence in LOTS of threads ;)

Yes, but every superhero has a tragic backstory. It adds pathos.

Then, when they develop their superpowers, it is what spurs them to reach above and beyond, and save the world.

You should know that. We just have to watch your superpowers kicking in.
