60 minute walk today to ward off work frustration (it was quite a fast walk) and blow some cobwebs.

Tomorrow's exercise will mostly be rushing up and down stairs doing last minute packing.

Well done Jamrox you will be swimming the channel soon !! I woke up early so thought I would clean the house which is quite hard with just one arm ( the other holding one of my crutches) but quite pleased with results. Even washed all covers on garden furniture . This afternoon I have been to have my stitches out which I must admit did hurt a bit . Thought I'd be straight home for a shower but the male nurse said no no you must wait 3/4 days !! I was choked as nearly 3 weeks now just being able to wash myself in sink no fun !

....brilliant @Jamrox you've sounded determined since you started, it will make Pipp's day when she sees those photos....:D

...45 minute walk in the sunshine, lovely day, summer's not gone yet..

36 minutes on bike and 20 minute walk into town.

Everyone is doing really well. Keep it up.

Went to liverpool to museum of slavery. Couple of hours walking - the dock area is amazing but whoever allowed that bizarre black glass building next to the Liver building should be sacked from the planning office.

I did lunchtime walk in the drizzle then half an hour strole to the shop for salad cream about 6pm in the sunshine.
Played with new fitness thing ....think I need to go on youtube lol

Had a busy day yesterday lots of walking so did feel that I had done enough . Went out to dinner last night first time since my op . We met some friends the husband is diabetic, weighs about 23 stone is on dialysis and needs a kidney transplant but can't have it until he looses weight so looking at gastric band . With all his problems I was shocked to see he was eating pizza and drinking regular coke ! He must have had 3 cokes whilst we were there. I did ask him if they had given him regular coke by mistake and he said no I asked for it as I prefer it to diet !
Have a good weekend everyone x

Oh Connie I think he must have a death wish
He must feel terrible after eating all those carbs. Funny thing is that if he reduced the carbs he would probably loose weight any way.
Im no saint but getting the diabetes diagnosis spurred me on to change my life style.
Hope hes ok.

....the fitness thingy looks interesting Jamrox, the body blade I bought is for toning [and workouts] too....bought it on the spur of the moment and it lived in the cupboard till I came on here....

....nearly an hour's walk yesterday...may cut it down slightly as I always seem to be eating my lunch at the desk when I get back and its sods law that the phone rings whenever I have a mouthful of food...

I know what you mean Pollylocks, I often walk at lunchtime too and answering the phone with a mouthful of salad isn't good haha.
Zand , am I getting a positive vibe from your post ? Hope so xx

Yes, I think you are, at least not negative anyway.:)

Quick Hi!
You're all so lovely! I get a blast of positivity every time I pop my head in!
I've done some running this week - I was feeling horrid after sitting at a desk for so long - it makes me feel so much better!
I will take the dogs out quickly now, then back to work. Only a week left of the tour, then Vienna conference for a week then back to having a life. Yayyyyyy!:):):)
