7.8 bedtime (supper was a rare treat of shop bought battered cod and pea fritter)
6.3 fasting

Sunshine here in the South, but a sad day for me. I have to empty my beach hut today before it is bulldozed tomorrow and a row of new ones built. I've been holding it off to the last minute as this one contains many happy memories gathered over the years........

Sorry to hear that, they look super, are you getting a new one?
Neil

7.2 this morning feeling rough after an asthma attack over night:-(. Just found out i am moved up to Guys later this morning.:-)
Sorry to hear abt the asthma attack. Good news on the move as you said you get better care there - presumably more specialist care

But you do get one of the new ones don't you? Or are you not taking that up?

The newbuild will be two storeys and pretty soulless by the look of the plans. There's a lot of controversy and many unhappy people, including me, but I didn't want to burn my bridges so yes, I have reserved one of the ghastly new concrete ones ...

I'm trying to persuade another friend to put in an offer to buy hers and erect it in her garden but her husband is not playing!

6 this morning.....hmmm.....not too sure, you know I prefer my 5's!! Nothing out of the normal yesterday diet wise, I'm on batch ending in 26 too- but also started last night with a "thick" throat and head so could be either influenced I guess!!

8.7 mmol/l. Not feeling too good had to go to GP out of hours at the Hospital. Have an infection and on antibiotics. This is why my sugars are up and the reason I have been sleeping a lot last three days. Hopefully turn around tomorrow.
Get well soon

Good idea Kezz. Eliminate them one by one and I reckon that's a good idea.

Bladder infection Jan, not common in us men but they said my diabetes is the cause. Now I can truly empathize with females who have cystitis. It's very painful when peeing...glad I seen the doc so my kidneys will be spared. Fever subsided and on Trimethoprim 200mg twice daily. I should be ok tomorrow.

My every sympathy. So painful.

Can you recommend this bread? Have tried Burgen and Livlife and am not fond of either.

I love it. It has loads of fibre too. The slices are quite thick so good for toasting, and they are normal size slices, not itsy bitsy postage stamp sizes. However, there are 14g carbs per slice, so not as low carb as some others. Half a slice does nothing to my levels, but a full slice raises them a bit. The wholemeal is better than the original.

Thanks, will give it a go. Apart from the fact that I don't like Livlife, the size of the slices are a joke. Two slices do me no good.

OUCH  try drinking cranberry juice - unsweetened of course ;). Never found the true juice, just juice "drink" but it does help. Cranberry supplement capsules better if available
