Hi and breathe.
Under dn also saw podiatrist this morning she as changed dressing put special dressings on.
I am under so much stress & infection in toe causing high sugars.
But 2st on because of steroids but managed to loose it again.
I used to be 17st 10lbs now 13st 10lbs loss of 4 St.
So eating healthy see Dr tomorrow they are keeping a close eye on me.
Having a talk with one son tomorrow he his 33 but expects us to run rings round him.
Keeps threading suicide we said we would take him to Salvation Army. & another place which could help him does not want to go get help then accuses us of not doing anything for him.we live 25 miles away since hubby gone on pension I get £18 a week he expects us to go through night or day we keep telling him we cannot afford to.
You certainly have a lot on your plate there dear.... It sounds like you need to be relaxing a bit and taking care of yourself, not pandering to anyone else... How difficult life can be - it seems to throw a load of stuff at you all at once sometimes.... chin up, and stay strong... We are always here listening...

5.2 this morning, 5.4 after carrots & turnip, mash, liver & onions gravy last nite. Biggest spike of day was my small ripe banana snack. Pre 5.3, post 1hr 6.7, post 2hrs 6.1. Got one left so mayb smother it in squirty cream today. Was an impulse buy ..... Funny, those used to be choc or biscuits ;)
Your halo is showing... :) I ate a tablespoon of mash today, and 4 cherries... went from being perfect at 4.4 fasting - first time since before Christmas - to 7.5... mind you, that was only an hour after eating... will test again later....

4.8 this morning. I'm loosing the fight with my warm, cosy, comfortable bed on these cold mornings.
It looks like it's doing you good to stay there, with that reading... :)

That post I made yesterday saying no stress in my life?

Bin it!!

Nothing earth shattering, just a matter of timing!
Hope it levels out again soon....

7.0 this morning after a unsettled night chest still playing up:-( but better than it has been. Hopefully home next week :) if no more fluid build ups.
More good news... keep it up...

@loulou99782 No probs x I'm on seretide the purple one and ventolin for when it gets hard to breathe
Although since being on that one, I don't need the ventolin very often. Usually only when cold air catches me out or when I have chest infection/sinus infection.
Snap i am on Seritide 500/50 but my dosage is now higher than reqermended 2 puffs 3 times a day. I am also on ventolin inhaler and nebulisers, slowly phillyn, singular, atrovent and methertraxate. I am also on prednesolone 40mg a day as well as antibiotics. Hope your chest is stable cause steroids play havoc with blood sugar levels:-)

I think you partly answered your own question there! Hitting target numbers is one thing. Maintaining them is another. Helping others reach their targets is a great motivator too, and stories like yours are inspirational to those still struggling to reach their goals, so stay with us. There is still so much to learn, with no better place than this forum to do this. :)
Well said BT...:)

The price of Paradise ;) You have such a lot going on am not surprised the numbers are up a bit.... The excitement, the stress of getting everything done in time... Take a step back @AndBreathe and breathe....with your feet up and a cuppa if only for half an hour. Take care, you're nearly there, enjoy....
...what Sable said... :)

6.5 today. Full of cold and could do with staying in bed but the wandering plasterers have decided today is the day they what to lay the new hearth and then the sound bloke is coming to look at our barn in readiness fir Mf E's big do next month. It's supposed to be a day of rest !!!
Hope you feel a bit better tomorrow.... try to rest, although it sounds like Piccadilly Circus there...

Rice, spuds and cake all in one meal? Tut tut. I know from experience I can only manage one portion of major carbs at a time. That was why I was very high after lunch yesterday - I mixed spuds with bread. One or the other I handle well, both together is a no-no.
I discovered that today when I had some root veg, a tablespoon of mash and 4 cherries.... :(

5.5 this morning - pleased as had main meal at 4pm before my 2nd 5-10 pm shift last night, I tested when I got in at 10.30pm and was 5.9, but had just walked home. I had a cold black farmers and a square of cheese before bed.
Second night at the centre was good, I was supposed to be shadowing a case worker again Monday but the centre manager popped in and told me due to such good feedback from my first night to scrap Monday and from my next shift Wednesday I will be on duty case worker! How did that happen?!
Had a pool competition with the residents last night, I lost but it was fun to interact with the guys!
It all sounds really positive.... :)

5.7 this morning and I was naughty yesterday  I'm naughty every friday.
3.8 before my naughty lunch yesterday, which was late by a couple hours, so I was shaky etc.
Then his lordship Togo entertained the good people of Poole with his woo wooing :hilarious:
That dog has quite the fan club, everyone remembers him and comes over to give him a cuddle :joyful:
Nice... :)

Disappointing 5.8 this morning, however ate small portion of home made stir fried vegetable chicken and a cup of Pg tips 10 minutes before bed.
Got home very late and did not do any exercise.
