5.5 this morning, after preprandial 5.0 and +2 of 5.2 last night (high quality sausages, cauli cheese mash, berries & cream, red wine). If these low increases persist, I'll start to think that my weight loss is doing good for my insulin resistance.

I'd say that's more than a definite maybe ;)

Frustrating isn't it.
Morning, every thing went crazy yesterday evening, normality went out the window.

7pm before dinner, I had 1 bottle of Crabbies ginger beer, left from a while ago, thought I have that.
Tested just before.

8.7 retest again.7.42pm
11.1 10 mins ...7.51pm :eek::eek:
10.4 .Retest.....7.52pm
Had Dinner Liver Onions 1 x sausage swede, kale. 1 sm carrot gravy usual has very little effect
10.2
After dinner 8.32pm
Went for 1 1/4 mile walk, fast
5.5 ...on return....8.55pm :)
6.8 ..Cheese......9.33pm
6.7 ..Wine.........10.06pm

I'd be more inclined to blame the Crabbies than batch 44 for this one Daddys.........

An unadjusted 4.3 for me this morning. It's in my range, so accepting it, although with stable strips I might have expected a bit lower. But, no matter, my technicolour chesticles are still on the way out, so all-in-all, I can't complain.

Dibbles.I had another blood test the day after and it was 5.7,I went down for a print out ,never herd from Dr after he scared me the day before.
Thanks for asking.
We are in Spain at the moment at my daughters Villa.

:hilarious: obviously lots of sugar in that crabbies ginger beer @daddys1
The hub used to like that too, and occasionally I'd pinch one  pre knowing I had 'D'
I think that's mostly ginger beer. 36g of carbs per 500ml

Hi, Had I realized 36g carbs on the 500ml I would not have done it, looked at the label, but should have checked it on google or something.

It was a good test although not prepared for it.
Neil

Before breakfast 7.6
Porridge, blueberries AND a large dollop of greek yogurt.
Walk with dog, 2 hours later 6.4
So I think porridge ( made with water ) is ok for me.
Or am I wrong?

Lancashire, we have lovely sunshine, and the frost has gone, still some ice on the canal,

Porridge is one of those grey areas, some can some can't. Something between you and your meter I think ;)

Good result for porridge, but your walk will probably have brought it down by the 2 hour mark.
As long as we don't have ice on the ground, I always walk the dog in the morning.
3 weeks ago I fell on a patch of black ice, my back and knee are still sore. Also have arthritis.
But, the sun is shining so all is good. :-)

:eek:I seem to have missed something.

* heading back to find out what! *

Ed to add: can't find it. Dying of courteosity. Please explain!

You've not been paying attention to my ailments!

I've just had what seems to be a short, sharp sinus and chest infection that (coupled with an erratic Codefree batch, ending 44) returned me outrageous numbers.

All of that said, things are on the wane, with my "outputs" moving out of the Andy Warwhole pallette and through the Kelly Hoppen. Mr B is a couple of days behind me, so, he's suffering too. But, never mind, we rarely get anything full-blown, and hopefully we're on the up now. :)

(I started a thread, and everything. What's a girl supposed to do for a bit of attention seeking?!!?? ;) )
