Can anyone help with some advice please x

Dear Wendy I'm not qualified to help you really, but sick day rules immediately, ie increased insulin, and go to A&E. Don't wait. That sounds like an emergency. You need help.

Please get professional help now. You could be going into DKA which can be fatal.

Go to A&E, please, Wendy, and drink lots of water and take a bottle of water with you.

Let us know how you get on.

I have to ask why are you still on line when told to get to A&E as your condition is potentially life threatening?

Wendy

You do need to go to A&E. we don't know what insulin you are on, whether you are T1 or T2 etc, we can't physically see you either. Only a GP or consultant in A&E can assess you properly and give you the right treatment.

Hi, as others have said you should be going to A&E. In general when your sugars go into the high 20s you would be keeping the carbs down and increasing the insulin and having plenty of water whilst seeking medical advice. Are you overweight and what sort of diet are you having (go to A&E first)
