Good Morning all,
I wasn't sure whether to post here or on another forum, but I usually find the low carb forum helpful for most things. So, as the title suggests, I have not been feeling well due to digestive issues which started with indigestion/burping and then overall stomach discomfort and generally feeling poorly. I do normally suffer from mild IBS too. I have been tested for H Pylori bacteria and just got my results which were negative. My food is settling but just not digesting very well. Ultimately, I am wondering what I can be eating to best help my symptoms, while also keeping fairly low carb. I have been eating mostly goat's yoghurt with cinnamon and tried some ground almonds today in it. But I have also been desiring banana and manuka honey, which I have found when drip fed is o.k for blood sugar, but obviously this is not ideal. I am drinking loads of bottled water. I have a cooked evening meal of some lean fish or chicken and various veggies. Last night I tried celeriac, which was very good and comforting (am not surprised it is low carb as I expended almost half my body weight in energy just trying to prepare the damned thing!).
Any ideas on easy to digest, bland, low carb comfort foods gratefully received, many thanks!
