I am tormented by Sainsbury's bakery every morning when I am in the garden with the dogs or out walking them.... The wind seems to have been blowing from that direction since they started baking the hot X buns ... They smell soooooo goooood and I KNOW they are... Fresh, split in half and plastered with butter....droool droool
Now, just stop that!

5.9 this morning... :joyful: The sand-storms have passed, the sun is shining...the house is almost cleaned of it all but the garden still looks ghostly... my husband is home safe, having driven all night through it and I am back in the fives - albeit high fives... ah, that's a good thing, no? :)

6.1 this morning... strep throat kicking in.... weekend.... it's all coming together...
Take care and have a goodie

Morning all,

8.0 this morning.

Hankjam, sorry about the strep throat kicking in, hope it will not get too bad.

The holiday traffic is back.
Cars pouring into North Wales yesterday and last night especially on the A55 Express way .... luckily I was travelling on the quiet side ten oclock last night.
A lot of snacking yesterday and not one decent meal so was expecting a bad one this morning but feel great and I got a

5.4 ..... I'm happy with that.

Morning all

Big bounce in the wrong direction. Up to 6.6 and blood ketones a misery 0.3. Curse of the commentator is back obviously. Weather - after yesterday's sterling efforts - grey wet drizzle expected to last pretty much all day. But then again it's a British bank holiday weekend so what was I expecting!

Right now that's out of the way....

The bulletproof coffee is kicking in nicely, looking forward to a big juicy omelette, Folkestone 10 mile race at 11am and there's a nice light southerly wind (if it's easterly or westerly and strong the run to Folkestone or back is really hard work). Oh and new avatar.

Game on!

Mine are around the 8 mark, still too high for the am, however was 6.4 before bed, as mentioned in an earlier post still yet to increase metformin to 3grams, so maybe that will have the spur the sugars need, following a low carb diet but I can't give up my apple a day. :{

5.7 on this lazy morning.
I was fitted with a 24 hour blood pressure monitor yesterday, so no exercise done, glad to finally take it off this morning.
Over did it, with the blueberries yesterday evening too.

Decided to go for a short run B4 breakfast just to bring my BG down a little.

4.6 after some non carb vodka and diet coke yesterday evening and chippie fish and a few chips, happy with that, let the weekend commence.
