I for one, will miss your unwavering support to the inclusiveness of our diabetic community. I'm sure I'm not alone in feeling great admiration, for sharing your insights. Although you were only here a short time. You have restored my faith in the exchange of thoughts that bond us all together in this, difficult at times, illness we all share.

Hi Pipp, Gemma did not state hostility was her reason for leaving, neither did she state hostility was the reason for her leaving however,
she has stated in a later reply......

Incidentally, it would not be web etiquette to name names openly in forums.

For my part I didn't, I let it drop knowing it would eventually fade away, it did.

Well thanks for clarifying that @WeeWillie , because your earlier post, and my unacknowledged farewell greetings did have me wondering if I had inadvertently caused offence.
 
@gemma6549 I seem to sense a reluctance to you actually leaving, I really wish you would reconsider, seldom do we get someone that can add so much to our community.
 
I do wonder if perhaps Gemma would like to reconsider, as many of us feel a bit overwhelmed by forum posts sometimes.

But we really ought to respect her decision, as we could be causing her stress. I hope that is not the case

Sorry to see you go obviously but I understand social media/blogs/forums are not for everyone. We recently introduced Yammer at work - and some people have taken it to heart and yet a lot of people hardly ever log on !

Best of luck for the future. What I would say is whilst this forum may have its limitations, it still serves its purpose really well !
