2014/15 Football Season

Boro through to Wembley nice game too. Brentford werent even there :D
Wonder who's gunna join em Ipswich or Norwich. Findout tomorrow
Penultimate matches of the Prem today should be decided on who else goes down. If Hull don't win then its bye bye for them.
Bad luck to Brentford but, in all honesty, I don't think they're ready for the Prem. In a couple of years time they might be, with a bigger ground and further investment. However, the departure of Mark Warburton is a real blow: a classic piece of hubris by the Owner, who thinks he knows better: we shall see.

I definitely think it's bye-bye Hull.

Saints play Aston Villa today - last match of the season at St Mary's. As most of my recent predictions have been completely wrong I am going to say that Saints will lose against them, and against Man Citeh next week. Hopefully these predictions will be completely doolally, Saints will win both and Villa will lose the Cup Final, giving us some European footie next season. We will then probably do what we did last time we got into Europe, under Gordon Strachan, and lose to an obscure Greek Club .... :D

Gordon Bennett! Saints are 5-0 up, Mané has scored the fastest hat trick ever in the Prem and Shane Long has also got a couple. I must try this negativity thing more often :D :D

6-1 at full time. Looks like Saints took their foot off the pedal in the second half :D :D

Apparently Pelle had a goal disallowed early in the game: cue chants of "Should have gone to Specsavers" at the linesman, who appears to have been, ahem, struggling with his visual acuity :)

Well as things stand Villa got hammered by the Saints and Newcastle are winning Sunderland and Leicester are drawing Hull are also drawing so its not all over yet for Hull even if they lose they could still escape.Guess its going all the way to the wire after all. I'd like to hope that Hull do escape and send Villa down instead

Yeah i thought the same as you about Brentford they woudlnt have lasted long in the Prem its a totally different ball game so to speak

Narwich through too Wembley I'm not a bad looser the better team won and to be honest Boro would of pulled us apart in the final well done Mick though assembled a squad on mostly free signings done well to finish top six when he took charge we were at the bottom off the league looking to go down

Oh well after looking at all the final scores the last relegation place is between Hull and Newcastle nail biting stuff eh :D

Sunderland are looking precarious they have 2 games to play and 2 bad ones Arsenal and Chelsea. Looking at Hulls last match its no better they have Man Utd next Sunday and Newcastle have West Ham oh dear looking like we will be playing Hull next season.

Ditto! The Trevor Brooking lower was still rammed with Everton fans and all their players were on the pitch taking adulation. :p

Good travellers bluenoses!

I predicted a penalty at Ann field. However Palace didn't read the script. Eagles!!!!!:D

What the hell was going on at Saint Mary's today @jay hay-char?

We were only posting about historical hat tricks, weird goings on here!!!

Wooooooooo!:mask:

@nosher8355 Well so far you are 50% right! Usual inability of Hammers to defend a lead and letting in a goal with minutes to the final whistle.

I'm sure if Newcastle could pick a team to play at home last day of the season it would be West Ham in their current miserable form. Mind you 8 points from the last 30 (same as Hull, Burnley and QPR) looks sensational compared with 1.
