Yummy yummy!Percy pigs. I try and limit myself to 2 an hour/journey when I'm in the car and deal with it later normally. (I would rather be 9 when driving than 4...)
I am doing the same, though not always the percy pigs type.
Checking the bg over long stretches of driving, I realise that the hard work behind the wheel and working all the pedals actually takes quite some sugar to keep it stable. E.g. found the German autobahn at high speed the most demanding, taking typically 3-4 pieces of these per hour:
Unfortunately now with the cgm such as Freestyle Libre or Dexcom, we no longer have the 'excuse' taking too many of these delights to stay on the safe side. But at least it has become easier also to read more frequently during driving/physical exercising and counter more timely/accurately with bolus if going up after the 'criminal' event.
Life isn't about waiting for the storm to pass... it's learning to dance in the rain.
