Hey Guys, a friend of mine pointed me to this site concerning research for our biology project.
we need to "interview" 40 diabetics and collect information such as:

Reply with your answers in this format:

1. The type of diabetes.

2. The most probable cause in your case.

3. How long ago you were diagnosed.

4. How it is managed in your case.

5. Gender

6. Age

7. Any notes or add-ons you think may be useful to me in collecting information about diabetes!

8. What is your nationality and country of residence at time of diagnosis?

Thank you EVER so much if you respond to this, it will help me greatly!

If you know of anyone else that is willing to fill this form out i would appreciate it so much!

Every one who is labelled diabetic is unique in how they got there and how to treat it.
There is no scientific evidence that it is one thing that causes all types of diabetes (there are many!)

Lowering carbohydrate intake and cutting out sugar is the first step to getting control of the condition.

7. Most family/general physicians and diabetes nurses and diabetes dietitians know very little about type 2 diabetes, leading to mostly poor advice to patients and mostly poor outcomes for patients. Type 2 diabetes can be reversed, but most health care professionals don't know this or how to advise patients so they can achieve type 2 reversal/remission.

1 Type 2

3 Six and half years

4 Diet and exercise. Not taking pills, tearing up the diet sheets, walking a lot.

5. Male

7 The clinic told me to keep my blood sugars down and eat carbohydrates with every meal. They did not tell me how to do that.
