M'lady can I have a pay rise, please, sorry for asking but Christmas is coming and I have a gift for Mrs Patmore to buy

One shilling at the end of the month .. I must say it will encourage all the other staff though .. Don't tell them ..and maybe I will be able to give up sixpence next week .. :rolleyes::greedy::shifty:

What are you getting old Mrs patmore .. We need a Mrs Patmore ?
 
Well, I would normally agree, but this coming Xmas, mi'lady has given me 5 days off and I'm going to Wales. I'm entitled to 5 days off because I've worked in the kitchens in the House for 25 years!! Thinking about it, my arrangements are going to mess up the party arrangements. But I expect my new best friend NicolaB70 will take over .. lol

Well all the staff will get one shilling as a gesture of good will on the 1st of December !

Always best to ask if you want to get anywhere in life .. A bit cheeky though :joyful:

Many thanks m'lady I am saving up to buy Mrs Patmore a wee bottle of sherry for Christmas as she has been very good to me all year feeding me scraps from the Lord n Ladies table

Yes, had a very nice day. Dimsum in Chinatown. Obviously not a top notch establishment they had no sherry, had to have Chinese beer then off to National Gallery to see some Goya portraits (very impressive why don't we have at the house) then off to somewhere called a "pub" - quite an eye opener

Wales for five days .. Well after 25 years ... Couldn't say no ... It was the least I could offer under the circumstances ...:rolleyes:
Of course ladies maid .. Will get Christmas afternoon off and a little something extra in her stocking :cat:
Day at a spa ( the bath house ,) ! shopping day in harrods ! Food hamper ... Give me some gossip and it will get you everywhere :dead::dead::dead:

food there is just so different :wacky:
Now you know we can't have the paintings .. The last ones you bought back with you had to be returned :woot::bag::bigtears:
