Many thanks m'lady I am saving up to buy Mrs Patmore a wee bottle of sherry for Christmas as she has been very good to me all year feeding me scraps from the Lord n Ladies table
Well I am impressed ..
I am sure you could just take a bottle from the celler I will clear it with pa .. A nice red robin would be nice though to decorate the bottle ..
Spend the shilling on yourself :angelic:
Lol not edited to say ribbon lol .. The words lol

You must still work your contract though
Never had this much money before ,m' lady, thank you very much indeed
Yes will work hard on my contract ever so much

Don't forget I'm off to help the nuns with midwifery duties Christmas evening and in the new year
@NicolaB70 .. Lol of course you must extend your duties over the festive season .. Bringing babies into the world will be so good for the soul , and the vicar will be pleased ..
Once Christmas Eve arrives ... I will allow all staff 4 days off ...:cat::angelic::happy:
It's ok grannie and the rest of the family will be eating at the hospital they do a good party and Christmas lunch , after helping to serve lunch there and sing a carols :singing: not sure about lady Mary though ... ! Something is just not right ...

I am afraid the staff will just have to look after them selves for a few days .. Changes are happening .. Talking of which we must save the hospital .. I won't need supper tonight I am gong to try one of those new modern take away meals .. :p
And then go out dancing

I suppose it all depends on timings really. It could mean I'm helping the nuns first then rush over to you or vice versa. I just thought though, maybe I might have to borrow Dr Who's TARDIS as its different eras!

Christmas? Bah! Humbug! etc. :D

Great time of year. Last Christmas was my first one as a diabetic and it was great to watch everyone tucking in to all the goodies!!!!
Grandson passing round the box of chocolates offers them to me Granddaughter "No, she can't have them". She's a bright girl so I just thanked her for being so thoughtful. Grrr.

Hi @Arab Horse the first one was the hardest .. Now a little bit of what ever I fancy and I love it ..
I know where you can get some great 70% chocolate truffles and they just melt in the mouth .. They are all mine at Christmas .. And the triffle .. X

I'm Nipping over to the east end of London on Christmas night to help the nuns in call the midwife. As they're two different time eras I said I'll have to borrow the TARDIS for a bit of time travelling from dr who.
