Hi @Arab Horse the first one was the hardest .. Now a little bit of what ever I fancy and I love it ..
I know where you can get some great 70% chocolate truffles and they just melt in the mouth .. They are all mine at Christmas .. And the triffle .. X
Keep your spoons off my trifle missy!

I'm Nipping over to the east end of London on Christmas night to help the nuns in call the midwife. As they're two different time eras I said I'll have to borrow the TARDIS for a bit of time travelling from dr who.
Trip down the east end sounds interesting .. Grandmother will love that .. And cousin jam she might like a part
@Sable_Jan hope the phone box is going to take us all ... Can't wait :joyful:

@NicolaB70 we should perhaps ask the kitchen staff to make up some gifts , jars of jam , a custard tart , a few mince pies ..
Some pear drops , well you know the sort of thing .. We don't know who might like a gift and it will still be Christmas :singing::singing::singing:

According to last nights tv reviews it turned into a Quentin Tarantino blood bath last night. I hope the 'neath stairs staff got the table linen in cold salt water to get the blood stains out. Was it something in the soup upset his tum? Someone pass the sherry (for the shock)

Turned out to be a burst ulcer and he projectile vomited blood across the table. My husband said the same as others have that it was like the scene from alien with John hurt.

Oooh yes, it was shocking. Wondered why they kept saying "contains shocking scenes" and now I know. Wasn't expecting projectile vomiting of blood. Messy.

And is Lady Mary the only one who doesn't know about Marigold? That's going to put her aristocratic nose out of joint (not that it takes much) ..lol.

I think Mary is the only one who doesn't know about Marigold. If I remember rightly, I don't think that Edith knows that her parents know either, if that makes sense!

Maybe that's how it will end!! His lordship is abducted by aliens who inhabit his body but the aliens don't like the way the toffs treat their staff so they all get vapourised by a death ray

Just tittle-tattle, you mark my words.

I have it on good authority that the Downton production company has a full size model of the Hindenburg on order and the Director is busy practising lobbing matches at a large, lozenge shaped object :D :D
