I normally write out my menus before the big day and use them as a shopping list, as I am a new blood tester, I am keeping a food diary and watching carefully what makes the sugar levels rise, at the moment it seems like all obvious carbs, I've tried wholemeal foods and it makes no difference sugars still rise....my levels have dropped over the last two weeks, they were very high, so by the time I do my menus I'm hoping I'll have a good idea what to avoid, this Type 2 is having a massive impact on my life but I will control it !!!! as for the hard stuff I am a Jack Daniels girl so going to have to try a glass and see what happens, I'm also very fond of Mulled Wine so going to have to experiment
