Hi guys, im type 2, last few weeks iv suffered with very hot dry feet, driving me mad, especialy in bed, can anyone recommend a good cream or moisturiser to use, or any tips on controlling it. Cheers.
Hi guys, i was diagnosed type 2 in may, iv noticed after a sweat or a workout i get a strong smell of Ammonia, could it be my Metformin? Anyone else get this, seems strange.
Strangest thing, after my walk or excercise, when iv had a shower and im drying myself, i get a strong smell of ammonia, its overpowering. Anyone else have this issue? Could be a side effect of my Metformin, not sure though.
Iv had a few 4.1s, felt dizzy and had the shakes. Im a carer as well so iv heard if it goes below 4.0 you cant drive? Iv got my 3month check coming up, il mention it to the nurse [emoji106][emoji122]. Yeah i agree, no sugar, do you used splenda or sugar sibstitute?
Thanks, yes im keeping up with my checks, between 5.0-6.0 ,to be honest theyv been a bit low, so iv been advised to incorperate some sugary things in my diet. Would you recommend that? . Thanks
Hi guys, just wanted to say, after 2 months since type 2 diagnosis, iv lost my first 1 stone, and im feeling pretty chuffed. Thanks for all your support, heres to more hard work [emoji106][emoji122]
Yeah type 1 is more strict i suppose. Mines mainly diet controlled for now, but in the 4 weeks since diagnoses iv felt pretty ****, especialy during this hot weather. Driving is a bit tricky, i tend to not be as alert as i was. [emoji106]
Cheers. Im on metformin and my sugars have only gone as low as 4.1, but i do feel very nausious a lot, a bit spacy, iv got my diabetic checkup in August il ask her it its the metformin, iv heard it doesnt agree with everyone.
Hi guys hope we are all well, my friend told me that if my blood sugars are below 4.0, im best not driving, is that true? Im a carer and its kind of important in my job. Thanks guys
Cheers. I had half glass of pepsi max with my salad and my sugars went to 6.9, so yeah its about finding out whats good and bad for my sugar levels, something im getting more aware of. To be honest since not having full fat coke iv felt loads better, more energy, better sleep, certainly wont be...
I loved my full fat coke and pepsi, think thats what did me in the end, terrible drinks, but im hoping the odd glass of diet coke will be ok, fingers crossed [emoji85][emoji1787][emoji106]
