Thats so true about your BG reflecting your general health. I do participate in some exercise but definatly something to think about :) Thank you. Glad you managed to turn it around. X

Is that 0.4 or 4.0? Helen is right, if you arent eating a lot or being sick you start to use the fat stored in your body and that can cause ketones. Dafne is a course and you learn about ketones/sick day rules. Beth

I wouldnt take any insulin either, eggs and fish are no carb food. Unless your BG is out of range then you might want to take a unit or 2 :)

Hi Helen. Thanks for your reply. Yes I have had the flu jab, might have just been a bit unfortunate this year! I find that too! Is that our BG climbs when we are unwell anyway? I find I have to take much more corrective insulin when I am poorly. Im usually quite good at being in range! :)
