T2 for 10 years, am about to hit 70 this weekend, have three meals out planned and also hosting people over 4 days ……
My morning fasting levels are usually about 5.6.

Diagnosed in May this year I take Gliclazide and haven't noticed any real side effects, sorry, but I am only on half a tablet once a day. First check up with Doc due in a week or so.

Thanks Dak, Doc just said the reading was 7. Hoping that, if I am, it should not take much to control it. They did double checks a couple of years back but I was found to be ok then.
