Holiday high sugar levels - Oops!

Yep, quite often under 7, even under 6......I was generalizing on the 8 figure I guess. I'm on Metformin 1 tablet per day, and quite a bit of exercise, i.e. heavy bike ride each day weather permitting. No bike on holiday week though. I read that heat can raise blood sugar levels through...

    Running my own tests!

Hi, I've changed my exercise regime and got to wondering how it effects my blood sugar levels. So, I'm going to record the data here and modify the sequence/timing of the exercise and see how my blood sugar levels are affected. I'll be sticking to the same food and thus trying to keep...

Mine was 100 when I was diagnosed in 2016. It was a shock.....and like you I hadn't a clue about what I could eat. If you are like me then you'll realise you don't need to be an expert right from the start, you can start off by learning some very basics and what food types you need to...

    Burning legs when exercising

Hi all, I've changed out my daily power walk these past few weeks for riding around on my push bike, and quite hard with it. One thing I have noticed is that my legs burn really, really badly! I usually ease off when they do and it will dissipate until I go hard at it again. It's got to the...
