I just did my Hba1c this morning and it came back as 6%. Not happy about it as my last one was 5.3% 4 months back. But i have to be honest that i have cheating more often during my meals lately probably due to complacency from the last result. Never now!! I will go back to the strict regime i...

Hey everyone! [emoji16]
Hope everyone is doing fine.
I recently read an article regarding diabetics having higher sugar readings after drinking coffee and that we should quit caffeinated beverages :(
But for the past 1 year of being a type 2 diabetic, my blood sugar does not seem to rise...
Hi, same here. Im taking prednisolone to treat some allergic rashes. I’ve been given 15mg/day for 3 days. And yes, my blood sugar readings have rocketed the next day upon taking them. [emoji58] my post meals readings are always below 7 and now its always in the 8s range.
Im still waiting for...
Wow! 15-20 years! [emoji33] you are one tough man there. You mean to say over those years you have never felt unwell or have any symtoms?
But anyway, good job in controlling your diabetes. At age 61, there is still a long way to go and plenty to experience [emoji4]. Stay safe and fight hard bud!!
I agree with this too. I mean it is ok to take in carbs as long as we are able to use them effectively during exercises. However, it is easier said than done as sometimes we can't really tell how much calories we burn off during a workout
Hi there. No worries about that haha. Erm im currently on januvia 100mg, 1 pill in the morning and metformin 1000mg, 1 pill at night.
Actually im pretty concerned about getting type 2 at my age. Apparently this means that i would have to live with diabetes for a longer period of time...
Hi, I've also been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes earlier this year in june. Im only 26 years old. Genetics! Haha, my dad has it and so it got passed on to me. I've had fatty liver and my cholesterol was 300 at the point of diagnosis. Not to mention my hba1c was 14. But today, i just met up with...
Wow guys. Thanks for the information. True enough. I take sitagliptin in the morning and at times, after my lunch, my blood glucose would go as low as 4.7. Which is pretty low for a post meal reading. I would talk to my doctor soon about this.
Hi guys,
As some of you might have heard somewhere or from someone, there seems to be many articles and speeches by doctors informing the public that type 2 diabetes drugs such as metformin are doing more harm than good. They claimed that these drugs are only treating the symptoms and not the...
Hey, i might wanna try resistant starch. But i got some questions to ask.
1. Is it applicable to use wholemeal pasta? Or should i use normal white pasta?
2. How long do i have to chill it in the fridge before i reheat it?
Hope someone can answer my queries. Thanks alot. God bless all of you. :)
Hey guys. Thanks alot for the tips. Greatly appreciate them. I will be seeing a specialist soon and i shall get a test kit from the hospital. Hope that we can learn from one another in the future. Enjoy your week guys!! [emoji4]
