Hello everyone, quick question about viagra

Interesting question. I have no idea :) I do know my normal blood pressure is very good (it was taken last week and all is fine), though I cannot remember the numbers. It actually seems random. I took one this weekend and had no issues at all. I might be how I feel at the time determines if I...

Hello everyone, quick question about viagra

I had a similar experience, Gabe. When I was first diagnosed my doc said now you have diabetes it can effect erections. This has plagued my mind ever since. I know it's false for me, as I can function fine when watching stimulating video. Which we have done together and all has been good. But...

    Type 1 and Statins.

I too was told that due to my cholesterol levels being slightly high Ishould go on Statins. I said no. Then later, after my cholesterol levels improved, I was told I should go on Statins. Because, well, "I am getting older". Seriously, the specialist did this. The issue is more complicated...

Anyone seen the documentary What the Health (netflix)??

Oh, lactose intolerance is bad so don't drink milk. Where's them talking about gluten intolerance from their precious grain?

Anyone seen the documentary What the Health (netflix)??

Apparently, 1 eggs is the same as smoking 5 cigarettes a day. Or that eating meat raised blood sugars and gives you diabetes. Who knew? They say all this with a straight face. P.s. contaminates don't just fall on livestock, they fall on plants. They don't talk about this. Well, we could talk...

Told by medical professional that keto is dangerous!

Please don't do this. Do what is right and remain in ketosis. You've taken your diabetes and your health into your own hands and the results speak for themselves. They are simply there to advise, and clearly their advice isn't great. I told my consultant, when he tries to get me in Statins, to...

    Who to donate to?

My thoughts are with you @Jo_the_boat. Funerals are strange affairs, never knowing quite how to be, or feel, in such a situation. Keep those happy thoughts with you <3 This thread has been very useful as I've been looking for a good diabetes charity to create my Virgin Giving page against...

    I Don't Understand The Nhs

Oh wow. I wasn't aware of this new documentary. This will be essential viewing. Gary Taubes books "Good Calories, Bad Calories" , "The Case Against Sugar" and "Why We Get Fat" are excellent and essential reading. Good Calories.... will drive you mad at how these so call scientists got away...

    I Don't Understand The Nhs

For decades the science for low carb benefits has been available. Though the ones with the money and power (big food, big pharma) have constantly tried to suppress this. Resulting in the advice that a carb heavy diet is healthy and will reduce the risk of heart attacks, etc But today more and...

    How Do You Deal?

Welcome, @maitai Sorry to hear of your diagnosis, and what seems like a barrage of advice from family and friends. You know they mean well, of course, but it can be a bit "alright already, sheesh" ;) One thing you will discover as you live with diabetes and if you do indeed investigate it...

Stop Keto Now - The Mice Have Spoken!

Hey gang. sorry I've been away for a while. I was annoyed by this article. Saw this Sky News on my google feed this morning and wanted to have a moan about it. Now I'm seeing it popping up from other news outlets (The Independent, etc). It just takes one BS article to then filter through and...

Hot, salty bone broth. Fasting again.

I'm doing a 14 day fast. It's for weight loss, improved health, and all the other benefits of doing a fast. I just want to ensure I keep my salts up, as even during my Keto lifestyle I get cramps. Which I'm putting to lack of salts and, I believe, Magnesium.
