Hi I’m aware that yeast infection is a breeding ground when sugar is high. I’ve woke up this morning relatively high, just finished a course of amoxicillin this morning. Wondering if the thrush is raising the sugar. Thanks

Slightly sweeter than normal coffee.. I like a milky coffee so most of the time is a hot milk with a dash of coffee. Lol same with my tea

Hi I picked up this coffee, says sweet with sugar and citrus notes. No nutritional information on the jar. Has anyone got a wee idea of what the sugar may be.

Hi girls I was wondering does the menstrual cycle effect you in any way. Mine is due to start in the next few days and noticed I’ve been quite high . (In the 11’s) , the insulin is taking slightly longer to work that usual too. Has anyone else experience this. Thanks all x

Thank you, I think it may be fatty tissue. Woops, I’ll start rotating more. I’ve never injected my arm , only my tummy and thighs. Might try arm .

Hi all I jagged tonight into my stomach in quite a frequent area I used just below belly button. My sugar seems to have spiked quite a bit that normal for what I ate (garlic bread)30g. I’m at 14, took a correction. Could this be because of the area I injected into? Thanks Nadia .

I’ll take that on board :) haha, and yes well I took a corrective tonight actually after dinner now sitting at 8.5 , however with those extra unit or 2 of basal on board. I find I never really have to correct. As it comes down itself . :)

Yeah I took 8 units today. I usually take 10 but I started to take 9 which made all the difference. I feel 1unit I can see a lot of difference. 10 units I’m in the 6/7 before meals. 8 units I was 9.3 before dinner today. And 10/11 for the 3 hours after lunch with some activity (house cleaning...

I use levimir basal. Sugars have been a bit high today and was a bit resistant at dinner tonight. However I think it was down to the back ground.
