Because a few times it has given me results which were higher than usual and when I’ve retested to check -results have been lower. I’ve just ordered some control solution. Thanks for info :)

I’ve just come back from a walk up and down hills - a bit under 2 miles. My fasting bs before was 5.5 and now it’s 5.9mmol/l. I thought it went down after exercise.
Taking BS 2hr after eating 2 poached eggs, cooked spinach and a little gruyere. Machine said 3.6mmols - so I did it again 5.5mmols and just to check 5.3mmols. Hmmmm. Different fingers. I have a SD Codefree machine. How can i trust it now?

Ive just been told Im prediabetic. Ive been testing blood sugar 2hrs after meal. Now just read a post by Diabetic Living in US where they say you should test 2 hrs after you start eating. Which is best?
