Some do just need more insulin than others, I know when I went on a carb counting course in 2019, one person there needed 1 unit per 2 or 3 carbs eaten (whilst another only needed 1 unit per 50 carbs), you cant just assume everyone uses 1unit per 10, I know I need more than that Different...

May be worth finding out if they'd start you off on the 780g with the G4 sensors instead - I know I'm somewhere on the list to get my 780g upgraded to use the 'Simplera Syncs' (am currently using the G4's) - but that's now on hold til the supply issues are sorted (no ETA)

Onion bhajis are awesome I probably have some insulin for them, but not a lot as there's generally not too much gram flour on them anyway (well unless they're really awesome and I have a lot :))

I also find that I have skin issues on my stomach for the infusion kits and sensors (Medtronic), and only my stomach, anywhere else is fine. Mine isnt too bad though so I use a barrier spray to help when I have the infusion kits there (I have the sensors on my arms)

The G4's do require a transmitter and I'm pretty sure those are pricey - especially if only going to be used briefly rather than for their full years worth, maybe thats why
