Yes I did with Specsavers but they didn’t tell me anything was wrong, the pressures in my eyes were fine. My dad has Glaucoma.

Hi, I’ve been sent an appointment for the above but I don’t have glaucoma! Does anybody know what this test actually is? Of course it came last night when I can’t actually ring anybody until Monday! Thanks.

I’ve just been told by Boots my pharmacy that they can no longer get them. They have advised I get back to my GP to prescribe a different needle. The last time my surgery tried to change them for a cheaper needle, the cheaper needle would sting every time I used 1 so I’m not holding out much hope.

I would never want to go back on quick acting insulin ever again. The nurse at the time who put me on it said ‘you will feel much better’ I didn’t understand what she meant by that and still don’t really because I wasn’t feeling ill or anything!! It was like a vicious circle for me, the insulin...

I don’t go to my drs for any diabetic input, I go to the hospital clinic and see consultant’s that know what they are talking about. The gp does try to get me to go for blood tests etc but I refuse to go.

I’m on this and had no side effects from it.

I’ve been on it a few years and had no problems with it.

Hi, My mum is on this insulin twice a day but quite often doesn’t want to eat an evening meal so I’m not sure if she should inject her evening dose. I’m thinking no but then she won’t have the long acting part of the insulin. Any advice?

I will just eat normally, I don’t lower carbs or restrict any food.

My mum is a type 2, been diagnosed since maybe the 80’s. She’s on Humilin m3 and she had not injected herself for a couple of days. I of the days she had no food or any other medication. She has been finding it difficult to inject as she has been losing the feeling in her fingers.

Hi, My mum has been hospitalised with DKA yesterday can anybody that has had this tell me how long they were in hospital for this. I really don’t want to go on the time I had it as it was quite long around a month. Thanks

I drove for almost a year under section 88 after my Gp made a mistake on my form that deemed me unfit to drive. By the time this was sorted out I had to re-apply for my driving licence. I had no problem driving under section 88 I was never stopped.
