I had an operation on 14 March 2013, on going into hospital at 6.00am that morning my bs was 6.0, from coming home on the 15th March I cannot get my levels to even out to between 7 - 10 as they were before. I have added a couple of units to my insulin dose with no good results any suggestions...

HI, am a type 2 on Insuman Combi 25, metformin. I was diagnosed on Monday as possible asthmatic and prescribed a Ventalin inhaler, 1 dose at bedtime. Since then my before breakfast readings have gone from 5.6 to 10.9. ~Anyone outhere have the same experience? pauline

I'm type 2 insulin dependant and have always had trouble with bg's in the heat, they go upwards -my diabetice nurse after a few years of checking me has decided i am intelorant to heat, and I believe her. Bg's are normally 5 - 7'sh in heat can go up to at least 10. Just sitting indoors today...

I was given the above tablets on Monday last, by a Neurologist, as pain relief for a couple of crushed discs causing right sided pain. my bs's have doubled since starting them so I have today stopped. just to warn you just in case you are prescribed. having back surgery sometime in future...

can being constipated cause bs's to go low?
