    Lidl's Protein Rolls......

Hi folks, We don't have a Lidl here where I live and I often see post's on here about their Protein Rolls. Does anyone know if the Co-Op's triangular wholegrain multi-seeded rolls are comparable as I can't seem to find out any information on them ? Many thanks.

Whilst I would love to come along and meet up with others to swap recipe's and chat , this is very short notice and would ask that for future events like this you give people a bit more notice.

    Best GI Index

Hi there, I have to agree with the others that you need to keep testing as eveyone is different, but I also found that reading labels and the use of a pocket guide I found on Amazon by Dr Wynnie Chan called "GI & GL Counter" to be really helpful

Skin problems and rashes in T2

I have the same problem in that I look as if someone has thrown scalding water into my face.... I'm T2 and I'm on Metformin and Sitagliptin, I've tried different creams prescribed by the Doctor plus antihistamins and have found the only thing that works is to stop the medication, not an ideal...

Type 2 High Morning BS Levels

Many thanks for your reply Bulkbiker, I wasn't aware of the "Dawn Phenomenon" and the liver dumping so that explains a lot of my high morning readings in the past.

Type 2 High Morning BS Levels

Wonder if anyone in the community can help/advise me with this issue. I'm currently taking 2 x 500mg of Metformin and 1 x 100mg of Sitagliptin in the morning with a follow up of 2 x 500mg of Metformin in the late afternoon. I've managed to get my blood sugars down from double figures over the...

    Morning Munchies.....

Many thanks to all of you for your suggestions on solving this problem. I've found that at the weekends I don't have this issue as I tend to have a cooked breakfast rather than the oatmeal/bran-flakes/fruit/berries option. I have found that if I do eat toast then the Bergen Soya and Linseed...

    Morning Munchies.....

I wonder if anyone else has this problem in the mornings ? I've recently changed to a LCHF diet and find myself constantly hungry in the mornings until around lunchtime, I used to start the day with the obligatory white toast and butter with Marmite or Peanut Butter (sometimes having a...
