In South Africa, there is a deposition hearing currently underway against Professor Tim Noakes a leading LCHF specialist for professional misconduct after tweeting about the benefits of the LCHF diet in youngsters. That thread itself is fascinating and I would recommend anyone interested in finding out why we are where we are today in terms of government health guidelines, and the LCHF approach to read that thread.
Professor Noakes runs a research foundation and one of its aims is to try to raise LCHF across the world. To that end it has requested that anyone who has followed a LCHF diet to provide some personal statistics that can be added to the database.

I have completed this myself as did a number of other people via that thread. All it asks for is the relevant data that we all focus on here, and you can fill in as much as you know if there are gaps. If anyone would like to contribute, they can find the link here

Given the many success stories of the diet for many of the people on here, and the continued lack of understanding in the media and in public health guidelines, it seems to me that trying to make sure we each do the utmost we can to try and further the message publicly and help reduce the numbers of people being left in the lurch by poor eating guidelines on diagnosis.
Professor Noakes is an extremely well known figure and his testimony is currently putting the entire foundation of the current eating guidelines of the South Africa and by extension the world under a severe telescope.
Please take the time to take a look and see if you would like to participate.
Thank you
