How long do pills take to be absorbed?

This morning I took my pills - Metformin, Statin, Blood Pressure and Aspirin then I vomited not long after. How long do pills take to get absorbed? I had breakfast (low carb home-made muesli and coffee) at the same time as the pills. I am wondering if they absorb quickly or should I take more.

People who are touchy.......feign indignation at the slightest thing. Hypocrites, bullies and cowards.
Under no circumstances should you take any more ! Just continue as normal at your next dose time.

How many statins daily do you take ? if one, the advice given to me was to take at bedtime ! as they are more efficacious at this time , same goes for ace inhibitors :) .

I take one pill in the morning and half a pill in the evening to spread them out. I didn't know they worked better in the evening - I could take them the other way round. Thanks John :)
