I have been following a low carb diet recently and my blood sugars have reduced to a level that I want to start reducing my medication. Should I start reducing Metformin or Gliclazide?

As has been said, speak to your doctor as lots of interactions and considerations. How have you seen your reduction? In hba1c or finger?

you want to see reduction in the former as finger tests are not I suggest reliable enough to get a proper picture. by how much could impact what drugs to reduce. Given glic has a hypo risk it might be that one first

Hello @Jeanne10824 Welcome to the forum :)

Unfortunately no one on this site can give advice on medication adjustments, you will need to see your GP.
