That's really great and it helps so much when people recognise just what an achievement you've made, she sounds like a great person.Coming back to add that I had an unscheduled call from my DNS, she said she was still getting her jaw off the floor at my results she said in 20 years of practice that she has never seen a drop this quickly on Metformin and diet. Feels good to have that kind of interaction
When I dropped down to 38 I had moved house so didn't see my old Diabetic nurse. I had my bloods taken at my new GPs and found the result myself on the NHS app - the diabetic nurse didn't even mention it just said I needed to keep a tight control on it - she was nice enough but didn't seem very impressed, haha. She weighed me and said I was 13 stone 6 so I told her I had got down from 20 stone 5. She just said "oh, ok". Then about 10 minutes later while she was going through my info on her PC she said "oh, you really were 20 stones two years ago" in a tone which suggested she hadn't believed me when I had told her. I was a bit deflated, haha.
