What was your fasting blood glucose? (with some chat)

6.5 this morning, still hanging on to the sixes despite an occasional drift into suspect carby territory, purely in the interests of science of course. :D
Always been a massive coffee drinker but trying to cut down although can't stand decaff options or tea. My wife trying to get me on flavoured tea but not a great fan of that either and did try green tea some months back but far too watery for me. Trying lemon and ginger with a teaspoon of honey which is a possible alternative and surprisingly doesn't spike my bloods, just puts a small bump on the graph. Grateful for any advice on suitable coffee alternatives and even abstinence tactics.
Hibiscus tea also known as sorrel tea is nice , I used to take to work in a flask or make in a teapot at home . Sort of slightly bitter/ astringent taste ,caffeine free I think,I get mine from a n Asian shop in ipswich which caters for indian/Jamaican/polish /Chinese etc foods
