Im looking for high protein Breakfast ideas, after leaving gym heading to work?

Cheese and meat slices rolled together. A platter of continental cheeses, meats, olives. Cold high quality sausages, egg mayonaise. Slices of cold omelette or crustless quiche.

Tinned fish, fish sticks, cream cheese on low carb flat bread.
Diced cold meat with some salad, or wrapped in lettuce leaves to be easier to eat.
Drinkable yoghurt, milk, liver pate.

One of my go to favourites is a cheese crusted omelette, I don’t add a filling but roll up & cut into bite size pieces - travel really well, I also roll them let them cool then unroll & use like a wrap for meats, salad etc.

I make a batch of baked muesli once a week. It comes out at 15 to 20 g of net carbs per serve. If this is a bit high sub out the rolled oats for some more almond flour or ground sunflower seeds. This recipe is also fairly high in fat, to lower it leave out the peanut butter and coconut milk. To save money (and the environment?), replace some or all of the almond flour with ground sunflower seeds. Also try other lower carb fruits such as berries. As you can see you can mess with the recipe quite a bit. I bake it in a shallow 8 inch by 10 inch pan, but you could also make it in a loaf tin, Cut into pieces and eat on the go, put in a bowl with some milk or cream. Slice and toast, it really versatile.

Basic Baked Muesli - 8 servings
6 eggs
1 1/2 t vanilla
3/4 c peanut butter
3/4 c water

1 c rolled oats
1 c almond flour
1/2 c sunflower seeds
1/2 c shredded coconut
1/4 c hemp seeds
1/4 c linseeds
1/4 c coconut milk powder
2 t baking powder

2 c sliced rhubarb
sweetener of choice

beat wet ingredients
add dry ingredients
mix to a wet batter
bake in a lined tin 180 deg C for 30 minutes

If you want something really low carb then a wide necked thermos flask with stewed beef or chopped steak with either mixed veges or mushrooms and a bit of gravy. I advise not adding herbs or spices as if kept warm the flavour can become strange, or spices can become really overpoweringly hot.

Smoothie: 120g plain yoghurt; 2 Tbsp peanut butter (40g); 2 Tsp cream (10 ml); 1/2 cup berries (80g); 75ml Cows Milk; water and ice as required. Carbs = 19g; Proteins=19g; Fats=40g. You can always take some leftover chicken drumsticks or wings from dinner night before, or cold salmon.

I had one of these for breakfast today - I love them but had never thought of doing as you suggest, rolling and cutting up to eat cold. Great suggestion.

If you have time to cook the evening before, then egg bites would be a good option. There are loads of recipes online (based on the Starbucks ones).

Chaffles? If you've got a waffle maker - they're basically Cheese omelettes cooked in an electric waffle maker you can batch cook and refrigerate/freeze them
