What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good Morening Ladies and Gentlemen

Blood sugars this morning were 7.6

Exercise day and dentist day today, but luckily not at the same time, also it is national bin day.
My tea is almost history and koffy is coming over the horizon
Have a great day all, in the face of adversity…..run

Another day when I don't know which reading to take as FBG. Went to bed about 24.30 last night and woke up at 01.15 when Libre alarm went off (BG down to 3.7) had my emergency can of sweetened coffee which put BG up to 6.6 about 10 minutes later. I figured that it was OK to go back to sleep then (about 02.00). Woke up at 04.00 with BG of 5.5. But that couldn't really be called a fasting BG. Take your pick!

Legs all nicely bandaged again for another week. Shopping done by Neil. So that's us all settled until next Thursday.

Cold and windy here today. I suppose that's what to expect of springtime. The house could be warmer but I'm being mean and keeping the heating turned down. Back to the extra layers of clothes.

Blood sugars this morning were a massive 12.7

I’m not going to hang my head in shame, in fact I’m going to continue to be my usual disreputable self now I must move on with my day, but koffy is calling.

At about lunchtime we have friends calling in for a vegan bacon sarnie, we have not seen them since November last year, they live in the Manchester area and are heading down to Reigate area for the weekend with family, let’s hope the traffic deity is kind to them.

Now it’s time for me to move on with my day, I shall smile, growl when I want, if not caught by Mrs J

5.5 this morning.
Last night after classes a class member was saying hello to Bonnie who was in the car which was by the fire door which we always exit from. We had a lovely chat to the class member then got in the car and drove off.

We were almost home when I had a horrible thought

Had we closed the fire door. To go back and check it would entail a 50 mile round trip.

Luckily I had the phone number of a class member who lived just around the corner from the church and she was able check - and we had closed it.

We were actually very lucky because they had set off yesterday morning with their caravan and had broken down and had just arrived home in a recovery truck. So their misfortune was our good fortune. It is strange how the world works.

Morning all from an anything but springlike L.A. Fbg today appears to have been 5.2. Anyone else notice Libre reads very high - not so much that but known meals/food - for the last 36-48 hrs? @Krystyna23040 interesting tale but all's well that ends well. @alf_Josiah enjoy the time with friends. Peace be with you all.
