What was your fasting blood glucose? (full on chat)

Good morning from Breckland's premier fan showroom where my Fbg was 4.7 which is where it remains until I decide to eat. We had 5 grandchildren here for a couple of hours yesterday as #2 son and family called in en route back to base in Winchester. :woot: Today we just have the two who have been staying here since Monday. My summer of sport watching continues with the European Athletics Championships. These two grandchildren like watching Athletics.:D Enjoy Wednesday but stay hydrated, in the shade and wear sun cream: probably not applicable to you @Annb. Don't look at the eclipse without your special glasses. Peace be with you all.

Fbs this morning 5.1

Sorry I have been 'missing in action ' these last few weeks :):)

It has been exceptionally busy with new people starting and I was getting behind with everything as the heat seemed to slow me down. Not just my body but my brain also.

Thank goodness the 4 week summer break started this week and I have caught up with so much and feel back to normal (or maybe normal for Norfolk),

Good to see you back. Don't overdo things in the heat you guys are having down south. We're back into winter gear here. Despite that, I actually turned the heating up a bit today.

6.1 at 02.15 today.

Back to sleep in the chair for about half an hour but can't waste time on a Thursday morning. Takes a while to get the bandages off of my legs, then a shower, then get myself dressed, have breakfast and get everything ready to go (make sure I don't forget something I will need).

The Scenic came back on Wednesday and seems to be fine. We have had trouble starting in the morning recently so Neil went out early today, in case he had to put the battery on charge but no. Started first time. I guess the electrics must have been going wrong for a while without us realizing it. Now it has a new AC unit and a new drive belt and seems to be fine. It's due an MOT in November though. That's the next hurdle.

4.8 here today. @Annb good news that the Scenic started first time this morning. I hope leg day goes as smoothly. @Krystyna23040 no wonder the heat impacted you this summer. Enjoy your break - well, as much as one of your nature ever takes a complete break. Here, we had no special glasses but JKP found a long forgotten colander to use as a pin hole camera for our grandchildren last evening and we followed on TV. Today will be at the upper end of mild on my scale here so fans on and hydration is the order of the day. Thoughts and prayers with students, parents, family and teachers this A Level, T Level and B Tec results day. Peace be with you.
