    Burning Feet

@Caprock94 - sorry, been away on hols so only just seen this! They're absolutely fine now thanks! Obviously not weather related as I've had 15 days away in glorious sunshine and not had a problem! Although I've done so much walking that I feel that they could benefit from a pedicure now!! Good...

Prediabetes Can I eat any bread at all, I’m prediabetic

I don't often have bread but when I do it's the Morrisons own brand protein bread. Have also tried the Hovis lower carb one but that aggravates my IBS. I do make the Diet Doctor mug bread though now and again - I enjoy that toasted.

How odd. Going to see how it goes over the next couple of weeks. Hope both sets of burning feet cool down!

    Burning Feet

Thanks for that @Dark Horse - I shall have a read later! Am not planning on going to the GP as yet as it's only in these past few days it's been doing this. Not so bad last night but I had some socks on before bed with cream in to soften my feet so that could have cooled them somewhat!

    Burning Feet

Since this episode of glorious weather, I've developed really uncomfortable burning feet. Never had anything like this before. Dr Google says it could be due to Diabetes - just wondering if this is really likely considering I'm pre-D, was only briefly in the Diabetic range with a HBA1C of 48 and...

    Treats!

I did once when I was away and needed something - no impact on my levels, but I'd rather just have chicken strips! Just wasn't in a position to cook them though!

    Reed Momenta - Healthier You

Hi @Hilda Ogden , I just couldn't get through to them. I left messages and they have called back once but I had no signal. So I've given up! Let me know how you get on though, won't you?

Thanks all. Won't be going at all at this rate! Can't get through. Used the ringback facility twice - once they put the phone down on me when I answered!!

    Reed Momenta - Healthier You

Yes, I've only been able to uncover what you guys have too. The letter from the GP says it's a 'personalised approach'. So I wondered whether they'd take into consideration my low carb requirements!! Anyway, I've requested a call back and I'll see what other information I can gather from them...

Has anyone been on one of these courses for pre-Diabetes? Had an invite from my GP. Just wondering if it's worth attending.

    Hopefully Unnecessarily Worried ...

No! Now I really know how my body has reacted to low carb. Onwards and upwards. Well downwards hopefully! Thank you for your support! Muchly appreciated!

    Lo-Dough a success

I like Lo-Dough. I have used them as wraps - but I won't use them for that again, but I was in the middle of nowhere for a couple of weeks and they were useful to take with me. Love them as a pizza base though, and for French toast! I don't have them regularly but buy some every few months.

I need a new job! - to save my sanity!

Sorry to hear you feel like that, but I do empathise - I work in education in a failing college. ''Tis soul destroying. A friend of mine became Ann independent travel agent, I guess though a franchise and does well.
